Partnerships
Local Current Journal considers collaborations that fit its focus on streets, shared spaces, neighbourhoods, and the ways people understand local places. A partnership must leave readers able to tell commercial material from independent editorial work.
Suitable collaborations
We may consider clearly defined collaborations such as a commissioned explanatory feature, a reader-facing resource, or a relevant partner placement. Proposals should explain the intended audience, subject, format, and commercial relationship, and should not rely on claims that cannot be substantiated.
Placement and labelling
Partner placements may appear across the publication where appropriate. Paid or partner-supported content is labelled clearly at the point of display; partner links are presented as such rather than as independent editorial recommendations. Editorial coverage and selection remain under editorial control.
What we do not accept
We do not accept arrangements that disguise advertising as independent coverage, promise a favourable review, or require unsupported claims about a place or service. To propose a collaboration, use the Contact page and select the partnership option.
A city is more than its map.
We pay attention to the details that make places legible: a street's shape, a square's layout, or a name that has outlasted its original meaning.
